NETizen: Is Being One a Good One?

Because of the development of technologies, computers are now already very accessible to people especially to students. They stay in Internet cafés and spread most of their time surfing the net. But is it really good to be a Netizen- a citizen always surfing the net?Due to their exposure to computers, students can easily do research works, projects, advance studies and many more. Other advantage is being socially acquainted with people through the Internet. They discover new things and goes with the trend nowadays.But computers also have ill effects to students who get hooked to it. They spend too much money on computer cafés instead of feeding themselves during lunch breaks and other free time. This may cause tardiness in their school. Another bad thing about too much exposure to these computers is that students discover many more games and some sites that are not advisable for their age. This is one thing that parents and other adults should be aware of and monitor their children.These are just few advantages and disadvantages we can obviously observe nowadays. It may keep students busy and stop them from taking illegal drugs but might influence them badly in school. Let us always be responsible on our acts and do the things that we know could improve our lives better.
